The collaboration between Zaccai Curtis and Claude Diallo is rooted in nearly two decades of friendship, mutual respect, and a shared love for jazz and the piano. Both proud Yamaha Artists, Claude and Zaccai have known each other for more than 20 years and have followed each other’s musical journeys with admiration. Their connection is also closely intertwined through Zaccai’s younger brother, bassist Luques Curtis, who has been a long-standing member of the Claude Diallo Situation. In 2025, Zaccai received the Grammy Award for Best Latin Jazz Album for Cubop Lives!, and in 2026 he and Claude brought the music of this Grammy-winning album to Switzerland in a special performance featuring Claude Diallo Situation and two grand pianos. The encounter created a unique musical dialogue between two accomplished pianists — celebrating friendship, family, improvisation, and the timeless spirit of jazz.

Im Jahr 2025 wurde Zaccai Curtis mit dem Grammy Award für das beste Latin-Jazz-Album für Cubop Lives! ausgezeichnet. 2026 brachten Zaccai und Claude die Musik dieses Grammy-prämierten Albums in einem besonderen Konzert in der Schweiz gemeinsam auf die Bühne – mit der Claude Diallo Situation und zwei Konzertflügeln.
