After having recorded an album with Bruno Spoerri in October 2021 at the Generations Festival in Frauenfeld, the American jazz label Dot Time Records has released a 5 CD box portraying Bruno Spoerri in 2023. To follow up on this success, the label wants to record another live album in the intimate living room setting of Villa Irniger. A fancy grand piano and a limited audience seating of a maximum of 60 people will make this event a highlight of the tour.
This concert hits the start of another Claude Diallo Situation tour. This time with long time companion Luques Curtis on bass and old friend, drummer James Williams. This trio has met at Berklee College of Music in 2004 and started touring in 2006 when the album Claude Diallo Trio Live in Switzerland has been recorded. After that the trio went on tour with sax legend Andy McGhee (Lionel Hampton and Woody Hermann) and now the trio is back. What a lovely reunion after 20 years!
